Motor Repairs
We work on a wide variety of outboard and I/O motors. Our technicians are certified on many brands and can handle anything from kickers to big blocks, direct drive to stern drive, and everything in-between! We love working on early model motors; we specialize in early Mercruiser, Volvo Penta, OMC/Cobra and more. We can work on most brands of outboard motors with a distinct focus on getting those old motors to run right and keep you fishing or playing on the water.
Vulcan Marine takes pride in offering a team of trained mechanics - we fix motors, not just replace parts. We offer on-the-water tests so that we can insure your boat runs at its optimum level of performance and we don't give up until it gets there.
Maintenance
The key to avoiding costly repairs or breakdowns is good regular maintenance on your boat. Regular service on your fluids, water pumps, seals and filters will make it much more likely that your boat will keep running and not let you down. Providing economical maintenance in a timely manner is what we do everyday for hundreds of customers. Repower/Rebuild
When it is time to give your boat "New Life", we are here to help. Whether you are upgrading from an old 2-stroke to a new 4-stroke outboard, or replacing your inboard engine, Vulcan Marine can make it happen. Repowering can get complicated fast, if you need someone to talk to about your plan, give us a call. We have lot's of experience swapping out motors and can definitely provide valuable insight. Doing it "right" is our mission when it comes to repowering your boat.
We can convert many boats from an inboard to an outboard by adding one of our custom offshore brackets. It's possible that your boat will require a new transom shield - we have solutions for all types of boats and configurations.
Our rebuilds come from the highest quality rebuilders, that specialize in marine engines and work with the tightest of standards and tolerances. All of our rebuilds include an on-the-water initial break-in and test.
Winterizing
Winterizing your boat is critical when the weather turns cold. Vulcan Marine offers several levels of winterizing for your boat. We make sure it will be ready to go when things start to warm up. Like all maintenance, the key for us is to hear from you early and get it scheduled.

We utilize all our experience and talent from building boat towers (Barewest) to transfer over to custom fabrication for your boat. Regardless if your boat is fiberglass or aluminum, big or small, we have solutions for custom hard tops, railings, offshore and kicker motor brackets, fish & cooler boxes and just about any other addition or alteration you may want.
